Number 1 on Google Search Guaranteed

Image
Sounds Too Good To Be True The emails arrive by the hundreds. The promises of guaranteed number one on Google, Yahoo, and MSN search or your money back. If we were to believe these con artists, everyone would be number one for their keywords in the search engine results pages. Let's face it, the numbers don't lie. Not everyone can be number one on Google. Many of these shysters and search engine con artists will promise you the world to get your business. Many will even promise to submit your website weekly to the search engines. This is a bunch of search engine bull. First off, submission to the search engines can be done free of charge by anyone. Google, Yahoo, and MSN all have free website submissions. Google and MSN have a very easy method to add a website to be crawled. However, Yahoo does require registration of a free Yahoo Id for free website submission. Most times a website that has been around for a number of months or years has already been acquired by the search ...

20/20 Business Vision

Let The World See Your Business In 20/20 Internet Vision By: James Warholic Not everyone sees the world the same way. In a story from NewsObserver.com , Dennis Rogers writes, Don't Let Politics Blind You. This is a fascinating article because I can relate to it with both Eyes. It really is not so much about politics as it is about our children not being able to see at an early age. Though the metaphors are very appropriate to political life where our politicians are blind to what is going on around them. The pictures are also appropriate to the online B2B and B2C, Business-to-business and Business-to-consumer world. As the story unfolds, Dennis, in his first five years of grade school was literally a blur. Goes through the classes being fearful that the teacher was going to call on him to solve a math problem on the blackboard in which he could not even see the problem that needed solved. He finally had a teacher in the fifth grade figure out that he was not a dumb student but one ...

B2C Marketing and Advertising

Image
B2C Marketing And Advertising Much has been written about the various aspects of marketing and advertising to the consumer. Here is a story that I first came upon through a Google AdWords Success Story and One On One With Ray Ray Allen, founder of American Meadows , is a company that definitely caters to the B2C, business to consumer market. It is quite facinating to read how Ray has intergrated his AdWords advertising into his marketing and introduction of new products that are sold from their website. He is one individual that has really grasped a hold of the impact an online advertising campaign can have on the bottom line. One of the interesting follow-up items that I see from their wildflower seed website is the integration of using a blog called This Week in Wildflower Gardening to share additional information with the reader since 2003. The blog is customized to reflect the colors of the website in such a way as the website and the blog become very uniquely branded to each oth...

Free Internet Information Repackaged And Sold

Image
Can you believe it! By: James A. Warholic Information that is free is trying to be peddled and sold as special reports... It is one thing to charge for an article when a publisher has given permission. It is something else altogether, Plagiarism and Copyright Infringement when someone else tries to sell an article without expressed permission to sell it by the original publisher. Print Publishers Vs Online Publishers Since the mid 90s when the Internet took off in such a huge way the old-line print publishers went looking for ways to cover their declining market share to the Search Engines. Encyclopedias that were once sold to schools and universities for thousands of dollars had all but become obsolete. Colliers, Britannica, Grolier, Compton, and other reference encyclopedias have had to try and reinvent themselves for the Online publishing world. Internet Business Models For Earning Revenue There are several business models for earning revenue from original manuscripts, technical a...

Search Engine Optimization Question

How do I get key word searches when using Yahoo or Google to pull up our site? I thought by using Title and Descriptions with key words that would work. What am I missing? Bay Area Huskers Search Engine Optimization And Internet Marketing Answer You got me Internet marketing laughing... Sorry, The simple site that you have without prompting it will not automatically just place you in the results. Take a look at the numbers for example if you do a search for Bay Area Huskers on Google, http://www.google.com/search?q=Bay%20Area%20Huskers there are about 63,000 pages that have those three keywords. You may show up if you submit to the search engines. You are not actually in the results for Google yet. I only looked at Google. See this search: http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Abayareahuskers.org If they had more information it would be displayed there. Are you ready to submit? Do you have everything set for the most part how you want it? If you do then you can submit for free on each o...

Hitting The Internet Nail On-the-Head

Clogging Up The Relevant Online World By: James A. Warholic In a relevant article published online at the Canadian Technology Human Resource Board, Bureau canadien des ressources humaines in technologie, Do Online Business Ethics Exist? By: Niall Roche, the author hits the internet nail on-the-head. Much of the information currently found online is nothing more then chewed up, spit out, copyright infringed, and general lack of business ethics; where websites even make a mockery of the legal system by cheating and selling copyright protected works to other individuals for use in student term papers and other works that are falsely being passed off as original content. The following excerpt is from the article @ CTHRB.CA : In the world of online busines [business] something has gone wrong. Something has gone badly wrong. In the pursuit of wealth and success business ethics have not so much fallen by the wayside as been torn up, stomped on and burned to ash. Where some loose form of rul...
